iSpring Water Systems, LLC is based in Cumming, Georgia, in greater Atlanta, and sells reverse osmosis systems, cartridge-style whole-house filters, spin-down sediment filters, UV sterilizers and softener alternatives direct through ispringfilter.com (formerly 123filter.com) and on Amazon. The company says it has been in business nearly two decades and sells in 21 countries; no founding year, ownership or parent company is stated on its About page. Products are positioned as DIY-installable with lifetime US-based technical support.

We cover seven iSpring products: the WSP-50 and WSP-50SL spin-down sediment filters, the WGB21B and WGB22B two-stage and WGB32B three-stage carbon cartridge systems, the WGB32BM three-stage with an iron and manganese cartridge, and the UVF55FS 55 W UV sterilizer.

What sets iSpring apart

Price and the absence of plumbing demands. Every iSpring unit here runs without a drain line, backwash or salt, and all but the UV need no power. The WSP-50 was $69.99, the WGB21B $173.99 (sale), the WGB22B $369.99, the WGB32B $516.99, the WGB32BM $535.99 and the UVF55FS $338.99 at ispringfilter.com as of Oct 2026. The WGB systems use standard 20 in. by 4.5 in. (or 10 in. for the WGB21B) cartridges, and every product has an in-stock Amazon listing for the exact model.

The warranty is the trade-off. iSpring's standard term is 1 year, activated on registration, with a 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime technical support; paid 3-, 5- and 10-year extended warranties are sold alongside the whole-house and UV products. Certification is thin as well: the WGB32B and WGB32BM describe their sediment and carbon cartridges as third-party tested to meet NSF/ANSI standards without naming one, no certification is stated for the FM25B iron cartridge, the spin-downs cite none, and the UVF55FS has no NSF/ANSI 55 listing and no published dose.

Which iSpring for your water test

Sand or grit in the water: start with the WSP-50, a flushable 50-micron stainless screen in a clear housing with a 1 in. MNPT and 3/4 in. FNPT head rated about 20 GPM. Spend $10 more on the WSP-50SL if you also have mild scale and want Siliphos polyphosphate inhibition, replaced every 3-6 months; it is not a softener. Either one needs a 5-micron cartridge behind it.

Iron under 3 ppm and manganese under 1 ppm with no sulfur: the WGB32BM, whose FM25B cartridge is rated for 50,000 gallons at 3 ppm iron and works across pH 6-11. On a heavier iron well the cartridge changes add up fast, and a backwashing unit such as the SpringWell WS1 or the Matrixx inFusion is the better long-term buy. The base WGB32BM makes no hydrogen sulfide claim.

A clean test with sediment, taste or odor complaints: the WGB22B (100,000 gallons per set, 15 GPM) for most homes, the WGB21B (50,000 gallons) for a small home or cabin, or the WGB32B for a second carbon block. A bacteria result on filtered, clear water: the UVF55FS at 12 GPM with a flow-sensing ballast, accepting that it carries no certification where the Pentair Premium UV is NSF/ANSI 55 Class A.

Warranty

Standard 1-year limited manufacturer warranty on systems (activated on registration), 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime technical support; paid 3-, 5- and 10-year extended warranties are sold alongside whole-house and UV products.
